Additional adverse reactions associated with estrogen therapy include:
Increase in blood pressure, hypercalcemia, thromboembolic disorder, myocardial
infarction, hypertension, anxiety, stroke, chorea chloasma, melasma, rash,
erythema multiforme, erythema nodosum, alopecia, hirsutism, breast tumors,
amenorrhea, alterations in frequency and flow of menses, changes in cervical
secretions, pancreatitis, decreased glucose tolerance, weight gain, weight loss,
increased triglycerides and LDL, GI distress, cholestatic jaundice, aggravation
of porphyria, breast tenderness, breast enlargement, changes in libido,
intolerance to contact lenses, changes in corneal curvature, increased
susceptibility to Candida infection
