Use

Topically promotes normal healing, relieves pain and swelling, and reduces malodors in wounds, burns, surface ulcers, abrasions and skin irritations; used orally to control fecal and urinary odors in colostomy, ileostomy, or incontinence


Adverse Reactions

1% to 10%: Gastrointestinal: Mild diarrhea, green stools


Usual Dosage

Topical: Apply generously and cover with gauze, linen, or other appropriate dressing; do not change dressings more often than every 48-72 hours

Oral: Children >12 years and Adults: 1-2 tablets/day; may increase to 3 tablets/day

Ostomy: Take tablets orally or place in the appliance
