Warnings/Precautions |

By swelling, oxidized cellulose may cause nerve damage by pressure in bony
confine (ie, optic nerve and chiasm); always remove from these sites of
application or do not use at all (see contraindications); do not autoclave, do
not moisten with water or saline (lessens hemostatic effect). Avoid wadding or
packing tightly; do not use after application of AgNO3 or other
escharotic agents. |
