Action |

As a benzopyrano-bipyridine carboxylic acid derivative, amlexanox has
anti-inflammatory and antiallergic properties; it inhibits chemical mediatory
release of the slow-reacting substance of anaphylaxis (SRS-A) and may have
antagonistic effect son interleukin-3 |
