Adults: 250 mg 3-4 times/day for a total daily dose of 10-15 mg/kg/day

Patient Information

Take as directed, preferably 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Avoid alcohol (rash may occur). You may experience increased anxiety, malaise, or headache; use caution when driving or engaging in hazardous tasks until response is known. Small frequent meals may reduce incidence of nausea. Report persistent acute headache, nausea, or vomiting. Pregnancy precautions: Inform prescriber if you are pregnant. Do not get pregnant or have sex unless using appropriate barrier contraception while on this medication. This drug may cause severe fetal defects. Consult prescriber if breast-feeding.
